Suicide Prevention Educator I

The Suicide Prevention Educator I position plays a vital role in implementing suicide prevention programs in middle schools, high schools, and communities throughout Delaware and Morrow Counties. The ideal candidate is energetic, articulate, and collaborative, with a passion for engaging both youth and adults in meaningful prevention efforts.

Responsibilities include building and maintaining school and community partnerships, supporting programming outreach efforts, maintaining records, and engaging and communicating at public speaking events. Knowledge of a broad perspective in terms of community suicide prevention. This position reports to the Suicide Prevention Program Manager.

The salary range is $18-22/hour with the full complement of available benefits. This position is eligible for HelpLine’s Alternative Work Arrangements/Schedule (AWAS) program. The work location is Delaware, Ohio.
