Morrow County Youth-Led Council

HelpLine currently offers a youth-led council for Highland High School students to develop and practice leadership skills in their school and community. Highland has named their council What We’re Made Of (WWMO). WWMO meets once a month during school hours to develop and implement a service or leadership project related to a public health issue impacting students and the community.

For example, students will complete projects around teen dating violence prevention and mental health promotion in 2025. Benefits of this program include developing student responsibility, leadership and advocacy experience, fostering a safe and prosocial peer network, and connection to caring adults.
