Crisis Engagement Coordination Program

HelpLine Crisis Engagement Coordination Program offers Delaware and Morrow County residents of all ages to treatment services and follow-up care during a crisis or mental health emergency. CEC, as part of the community’s integrated crisis system of care, focuses linking individuals in crisis to all necessary medical and behavioral health services that can help resolve the situation and prevent future crises.

The CEC program is free and no insurance is required. Confidential support is available 24/7 with a person-centered focus and client-driven goals. After receiving a referral, a CEC representative will reach out to:

• Deescalate crisis situations to avoid hospitalization and law enforcement involvement.
• Assist in identifying treatment options and share community resources such as mental health clinics, family support services and crisis respite services.
• Complete treatment referrals for priority mental health or alcohol/drug intake appointments at partnered agencies.
• Advocate for treatment needs and seek solutions to treatment barriers.
