Many are grieving after a former Ohio State University employee completed suicide last Sunday in Columbus,Ohio. HelpLine of Delaware and Morrow Co. Inc. would like to remind the community of the signs of suicide as well as resources available for survivors and those grieving. Grief is a common reaction to loss, however, be aware of signs of suicide including:
Suicide threats, previous suicide attempts, change in alcohol or drug abuse, sudden changes in behavior, prolonged depression, making final arrangements, giving away prized possessions, and purchasing guns or stockpiling pills.
