HelpLine Mourns Death of Board Member Keith Boger
Delaware, OH – HelpLine announces with great sadness that Mr. Keith Boger, member of the organization’s Board of Directors, has passed away following a courageous battle with cancer.
“Keith served our Board with passion and great commitment, as he strongly believed in the transformative work we do and impact we make in the lives of those we serve,” said Sue Hanson, HelpLine Executive Director.
As a practicing attorney, Keith brought superior legal insight to the HelpLine Board, with experience spanning decades. Keith served several terms on the Board, beginning in 2004 through 2012. He chaired the Board in 2006 and 2007, and served as Treasurer in 2011. After a brief hiatus, Keith returned to the Board in 2014 and a year later resumed his duties as Treasurer through 2017. He remained a dedicated member up until the time of his passing.
“Keith leaves a remarkable legacy of excellence, recognized by all of us who worked alongside him while advancing our mission,” said Hanson. “He was an advisor who brought such depth on a variety of issues that have been critical to the sustainability and growth of our organization. Even in his illness, he remained a vigorous supporter. Keith was a colleague and friend, and he will be missed.”
Memorial services will be held at Robinson Funeral Home, 32 W. Winter St., Delaware, OH on Thursday, Jan. 18, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to HelpLine at helplinedelmor.org.
