POSITION OPENING – Violence Prevention Educator
HelpLine is seeking an energetic, self-motivated, articulate, and highly organized individual to provide community prevention education. Responsibilities include implementing primary prevention educational programs and media campaigns geared at preventing family and sexual violence. This individual will also assist with implementing all violence prevention programs and the work of the Sexual Assault Services team (staff and volunteers). Position will be 30-40 hours per week with competitive salary and benefits. College education with bachelor’s degree as well as one year experience in human services preferred. Experience with public speaking, knowledge of gender studies, family & intimate partner violence, sexual violence, child abuse, and suicide a plus. Must be proficient in Word and Excel.
